The Vermont Primary Election is August 9, 2022. Polls open at 8am and close at 7pm. Please click the Warning below for more information.  The sample ballots are posted below as well, you will receive all three ballots but will only be voting on one ballot.

To register to vote in Vermont, you must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of Vermont, and 18 years or older on or before the next election. To register to vote your principal dwelling place must be in Mendon.

Absentee voting is available for every election as soon as the ballots are ready, approximately 30 days prior to the election. You (or a qualified individual on your behalf) must first request an absentee ballot by mail, by phone or in person.  The deadline to request an absentee ballot for any particular election is the day before by 5:00 p.m. Download an Vermont Absentee Ballot Request Form
