The 2024/2025 tax bills went out July 30, 2024 and the payments due September 9, 2024 and March 10, 2025.
According to state statutes (32 V.S.A., 1674), any payments not received in the office or postmarked (US Postal Service postmarks only) by the first due date are subject to 1% interest per month, in addition any payments not received by the second due date will be automatically subject to an 8% penalty and 1% interest per month or any part thereof.
