The Mendon Town Office is now open to the public with service through the vestibule window Monday – Thursday from 9am until 4pm. Access to unauthorized area is only available by appointment.

Burn Permits

Fire Danger Alert: High
October 23, 2024 – Mendon has a burn ban in effect until further notice
Keep our communities safe!

Monitoring Fire Danger | Department of Forests – Parks and Recreation (vermont.gov)

Burn permit applications must be submitted to the Fire Warden at least one day before the requested burn, or by Thursday to the Town Office for a weekend burn.

The Mendon Town Office staff is available by phone Monday – Thursday from 9am until 4pm, the office is open to the public on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am until 2pm. The Office will be closing at 12 pm the day before any election.
