It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our friend and colleague Mendon Zoning Administrator, Steve Cosgrove. Steve was a great asset to the town and will be missed by all. We will miss his quick wit and certainly his knowledge.

The Mendon Town Office will be closed on Wednesday, November 17 and Thursday, November 18 so that the Town Office staff can attend training sessions. If there is an emergency please email [email protected] as we will be checking email periodically throughout the day.
The Town office holiday hours will be:
Closed Wednesday November 24 and Thursday November 25 for the Thanksgiving Holiday
Closed Thursday December 23 for the Christmas Holiday
Closed Thursday December 30 for the New Year Holiday
The Mendon Town office will be closed Thursday November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The Mendon Planning Commission has scheduled a public hearing and will conduct a public hearing on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at the Mendon Town Office at 2282 U.S. Route 4 in the town of Mendon. The purpose of the hearing is to afford interested persons an opportunity to express their views on the following:
Proposed Mendon Enhanced Energy Plan and a concurrent proposed amendment to the Energy Section of the Mendon Town Plan adopted on August 24, 2020.
Further information is available by contacting the Mendon Town Office at 2282 U.S. Route 4, Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., by telephone or email. The town office is closed on Fridays. A copy of the proposed Enhanced Energy Plan and the proposed amendment to the Energy Section of the Mendon Town Plan adopted on August 24, 2020, can be seen below as well as the report on the Mendon Town Plan Update.
The next Selectboard meeting has been changed to Tuesday November 9 and 8:30am.
There will be a BCA meeting on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 6:15 p.m. in order to discuss the proposed reapportionment of legislative districts.
The Mendon Town Office will be closed Monday October 11 in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
